Wendy is an experienced high school science teacher, who is passionate about making physics interesting and accessible for everyone. She works hard to make her classrooms happy places where students learn not only physics, but the power to improve their lives and the world around them. Her former students have achieved state ranking in the NSW Higher School Certificate Physics examination and selection for the Australian and International Physics Olympiads.
Illustrator – Cheylon Devine
Cheylon is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Sydney, Australia. She specialises in drawing with ink, but dabbles in a variety of other mediums. She loves creating things that give people little moments of delight. When she’s not designing or drawing, you can find her singing her heart out in choir, or playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.
Editor – Harmoni Kwok
Harmoni is a recent graduate who was taught physics by Wendy. She achieved second place in the NSW Higher School Certificate Physics examination, as well as a Rowe Scientific Depth Study Award for her physics project. She was greatly inspired by the way Wendy spreads knowledge and positivity simultaneously in and out of physics classes and loved the experiments she created. Harmoni believes that “Finding Physics” immerses learners into the amazing world of physics with fun and informative comics, providing the perfect guidance for year 11 students. Harmoni is currently studying veterinary medicine and aiming to be a vet.
